Did you know the word "Respiration" can be traced back to the Latin word spiritus or spirit? Some ancient cultures believed that when we breathe, we are "re-spiriting" ourselves. Around the world many cultures have recognised the sacred practice of connecting to the breath and to a deeper intelligence within us.
